PSP Nepal isn't just a political party — it's a movement built on the belief that every Nepali deserves equal dignity, opportunity, and representation. Here's our roadmap for the next five years.
When people see the umbrella symbol of PSP Nepal, some see a political party. I see something different — a shelter that belongs to everyone. The umbrella doesn't discriminate between the Madheshi farmer, the Tharu fisherwoman, the Janajati artisan, or the Dalit student. It covers all.
Why Vision 2030 Matters Now
Nepal stands at a crossroads. The federal experiment is still young, economic growth remains uneven, and the social contract between citizens and state needs renewal. PSP Nepal's Vision 2030 is our answer to the question every citizen is asking: "What kind of Nepal do we want to build?"
Five Pillars of Vision 2030
Pillar 1: Proportional Nepal
Full implementation of constitutional guarantees for proportional representation across all state organs. By 2030, every government body should reflect Nepal's diversity — not as an aspiration, but as a measurable reality.
Pillar 2: Healthy Nepal
Universal primary healthcare access within 30 minutes for every citizen. This requires 500 new health posts, 2,000 additional health workers, and a community health insurance system covering 80% of the population.
Pillar 3: Educated Nepal
Mother-tongue education through secondary level, vocational training centers in every municipality, and a target of reducing the youth NEET rate to below 15% nationally.
Pillar 4: Connected Nepal
All-weather road access for every settlement above 500 people. Digital connectivity reaching 90% of households. A national logistics network that enables rural producers to access urban markets efficiently.
Pillar 5: Just Nepal
Reform of the judiciary to ensure proportional representation, establishment of fast-track courts for land and citizenship disputes, and comprehensive anti-discrimination legislation with enforcement mechanisms.
How We Get There
- Political strategy: Build a broad coalition of marginalized communities while reaching out to progressive allies across the political spectrum
- Policy development: Every pillar has a detailed implementation plan with timelines, costs, and accountability measures
- Grassroots organizing: Strengthen party organization in all 77 districts with a focus on youth and women's leadership
- Electoral preparation: Identify and support diverse candidates for the 2084 elections who embody our values
"The umbrella doesn't ask who you are before it shelters you from the storm. That's the Nepal we're building — one that protects everyone equally."
Vision 2030 isn't a campaign document to be forgotten after elections. It's a contract with the people of Nepal. We will publish annual progress reports, invite public scrutiny, and hold ourselves accountable to these commitments. The era of empty promises must end. The era of measurable progress begins now.
Join us. Not because we're perfect — but because we believe Nepal can be.
